Squish is built with privacy as a core principle. The app processes all photos entirely on your device. No data is collected, transmitted, or stored on any external server.

Data Collection

Squish does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or telemetry of any kind
• No crash reporting to external services
• No advertising SDKs or tracking frameworks
• No user accounts, emails, or identifiers
• No usage data, session logs, or behavioral tracking

Photo Library Access

Squish requests access to your photo library solely to let you select photos for compression. Photos are processed on-device and never leave your iPhone. Compressed photos are either saved back to your library or shared via the iOS share sheet — both actions are controlled entirely by you.

Share Extension

The Squish share extension allows you to compress photos from other apps without opening Squish directly. The share extension communicates with the main app through an App Group container, which is a secure, sandboxed storage area on your device. No data from this communication is transmitted externally.

In-App Purchases

Squish Pro is available as a one-time in-app purchase. All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Squish does not process, store, or have access to any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how your purchase data is handled.

Third-Party Services

Squish does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs. There are no external network calls made by the app.

Children's Privacy

Squish does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Since Squish does not collect any contact information, we are unable to notify users directly of changes.
