By downloading or using Squish, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The App

Squish is a photo compression app for iPhone. It reduces the file size of photos stored on your device. All processing happens locally on your iPhone.

Pricing and Purchases

Squish is free to download with limited functionality:

• Free tier: 3 compressions per day, single photo at a time, all formats and presets, share extension access
• Squish Pro: One-time in-app purchase of $2.99 (USD). Unlocks unlimited compressions, batch processing (up to 50 photos), metadata control, and all future updates

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Pricing may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

Compression and Data

Photo compression is inherently lossy for JPEG and HEIC formats. Compressed photos will have reduced quality compared to the originals. Squish does not automatically delete or replace your original photos unless you explicitly choose to do so.

We strongly recommend keeping your original photos until you have verified that the compressed versions meet your needs.

Intellectual Property

Squish and all associated intellectual property (code, design, branding) are owned by Pragmatiq. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your personal devices.

Your photos remain entirely yours. Squish does not claim any rights over photos you compress. Since all processing is on-device, we never have access to your photos.

Acceptable Use

You may use Squish for any lawful purpose. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Redistribute or resell the app or any part of it
• Use the app in a way that violates applicable laws

Disclaimer of Warranties

Squish is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that compression results will meet specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pragmatiq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Squish, including but not limited to loss of data or photos.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app ($2.99 or $0 for free users).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Squish after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
